How do I turn a product image into a video ad in Arcads?

How to turn a product photo into a video in Arcads, which video model to use for product ads, how to control motion with start and end frames, or how much each model costs.

Written by Romain Torres

Introduction

Any image in Arcads can become a video. Use your product photo or a generated image as the start frame, describe the motion and pick a video model.

Insight: Generate several clips at once and keep the best one. Small changes in motion make a big difference in product ads.

How to turn an image into a video

Step 1: Upload or generate the image

Upload your product photo, or generate a scene with an image model.

Step 2: Click Video

Click Video on the image. The video composer opens with your image as the start frame, set to Kling 3.0 Pro for square images and Seedance 2.5 for the rest.

Step 3: Describe the motion

For example, "slow push-in as the cap twists off and mist rises".

Step 4: Pick a model and generate

More control

  • In Workflows, start and end frames are inputs on each video model step, so you can control every transition in a multi-scene ad

  • Animate Actor brings a still photo of a person to life by copying the movement from a reference video, with Wan 2.2, Kling 2.6 or Kling 3.0 (500 credits)

  • Camera Movement adds cinematic camera moves to avatar videos (240 credits)

FAQs & Common Issues

My product changes shape in the video.

Start from a clean, well-lit photo on a plain background. The better the reference, the more consistent the product stays.

Which model should I try first?

Seedance 2.5, the default, for product movement. Veo 3.1 for lifestyle scenes.

Credit costs in this article are the standard rates. Arcads tests new pricing from time to time, so your account may use different rates or plan sizes. The Generate button in the app shows what each generation costs on your account.
