Introduction

A UGC ad looks like a real creator talking to their phone about a product. In Arcads you make one in five steps, with no creators to hire and nothing to ship.

Insight: Make the first line the hook. Then you can test new hooks later without rewriting the rest.

How to make an AI UGC ad

Step 1: Write the script

Write it the way a creator talks: a hook, the problem, the product and a call to action. Add emotion tags such as [excited] or [sarcastic] to shape the delivery.

Step 2: Pick your creator

Choose an AI actor from the library, filtered by gender, age, skin tone, type and situation (such as in a car or a kitchen). Or generate a new creator in UGC Studio, or create a custom actor from a prompt, an image or a video of yourself.

Step 3: Choose the talking model

  • Arcads 1.0, Arcads' own model built with the UGC actor library, for scripts up to 2 minutes

  • Audio-Driven for a realistic performance driven by your own audio file, or by a script read by a library voice, up to 5 minutes

  • OmniHuman 1.5 for an expressive video matched to the mood of the audio

Step 4: Show the product

Generate an image of the actor holding your product, then turn it into a talking video. The Gestures preset adds expressive gestures and emotions (240 credits).

Step 5: Finish and multiply

Add Instagram or TikTok caption styles, then use a workflow to make the same ad with 10 actors or in 2 languages.

FAQs & Common Issues

What does it cost?

Arcads 1.0 uses 800 credits per video, up to 2 minutes. Audio-Driven and OmniHuman 1.5 use 800 credits per started minute. Each actor is a separate video, so one script across 10 actors is 10 videos.

Are the actors real people?

They are AI actors based on real people who consented to the use of their likeness and are paid for it. AI actors must not be presented as real or verified customers.

The face looks too smooth in close-ups.

Run Skin enhancer on the image before you make the video (160 credits). It adds photorealistic skin detail.

Credit costs in this article are the standard rates. Arcads tests new pricing from time to time, so your account may use different rates or plan sizes. The Generate button in the app shows what each generation costs on your account.
